Does your dog bark, toilet or become destructive in the house when you leave?

Isolation Distress, more commonly known as Separation Anxiety is a phobia of being alone.

Separation Anxiety can be extremely stressful for both dogs and owners alike and I want to help take the stress away from both of you! I understand how hard it can be to not leave your dog for any length of time.

There can be a solution to your dog’s Separation Anxiety!

Interestingly enough some dogs do not show these types of signs but may show other signs of fear such as Pacing, Drooling, Hiding and other subtle canine body language…all dogs are different and each have different coping strategies.

There are so many dogs whether they are puppies or older dogs that seriously struggle when their owners leave them home alone.

This may have been compounded with the recent COVID-19 pandemic and the various lockdowns which have been enforced.

More time at home means more time with our dogs and whilst this sounds like a good thing, right…for many it has had an impact on some dogs when owners have tried to return back to work or simply gone shopping!

Why Online Training?

Separation Anxiety Training works so much better when conducted remotely! I can see what your dog is experience in real time without changing the environment. My aim is to assess what your dog can cope with at the moment and using that as a foundation for future successes.

How Does It All Work?

Our aim is to ensure that your dog becomes more confident and happy being left alone. By introducing your dog to gradual exposure of being left alone for slightly increased times this will teach them that it’s not actually so scary after all! The training will require commitment from you, and this will pay off when you can see your dog feeling more secure within it’s own home.
